Play today's Asian Cup quizThe AFC Asian Cup
The Asian Football Confederation was founded in 1954, and its national-team championship followed in 1956, with Hong Kong as the first host. The Asian Cup is held roughly every four years and has had 24 teams since 2019. Australia, which joined the AFC in 2006, has played in every edition since, and Saudi Arabia will host the 2027 edition.
Japan have won it more often than any other nation, and Iran, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have each been champions more than once. Arab football has a special place in its story. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Qatar have all lifted the trophy, and Iraq's title, won during the country's hardest years, still moves fans across the region.
What the Asian Cup quiz asks
The questions run from the 1970s to the 2023 edition, which Qatar staged in early 2024. Most come from finals and knockout ties, with Japan's title runs, Iran's high-scoring nights and plenty for fans of the Gulf teams, Iraq and Jordan.

How the daily Asian Cup quiz works
The Asian Cup five resets every day at 00:00 UTC and runs from easy to hard: two easy, two medium, one hard. Each question gives you 25 seconds, and your pick only counts once you lock it. A correct answer is worth 200 points; there is no speed bonus, so level scores are separated by total answer time. Your first attempt of the day is ranked on the Asian Cup leaderboard, and your best five days from Monday to Sunday make up your week. Practice and Memory lane are there whenever you want more, unranked.
